The device is very well constructed and remarkably, "Made in the USA". The unit allows for short term and long term readings, as radon levels vary seasonally, and over time. I have carefully followed the unit readings and on average, it pretty much tracks the readings I received from a few random charcoal canister tests performed at different times during the year. I have a large basement and noticed that levels seem to vary even in different areas of the basement,so I will likely buy more of these units in the future.
